When Helping Hurts: The Small Group Experience
Based on the influential book When Helping Hurts by Steve Corbett and Brian Finkkert, this 6-week study offers a fresh framework for understanding poverty - not simply as a lack of material things, but as broken relationships with God, self, others, and creation.
The Small Group Experience is a 6-week study to help groups explore how to serve in ways that truly empower others. Each session encourages reflection and equips groups to help the poor without unintentionally causing harm.
Our VIM Coordinator is available to facilitate this study for church groups, Sunday School classes, mission teams, and other ministries. To learn more or schedule a session, contact the VIM Coordinator.
