United Methodist Men
Equipping men to grow in faith, serve their communities, and live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
What is United Methodist Men?
United Methodist Men (UMM) is a ministry recognized in the Book of Discipline (¶ 258.1) that provides resources, leadership, and support for the spirtitual growth of men. UMM helps men of all ages discover their identity in Christ and engage in discipleships through relationships, service, and mission.
United Methodist Men is more than a program or a club - it is a pathway for spiritual growth, encouraging men to deepen their faith, strengthen their relationships, serve their congregations, and transform their communities.
UMM focuses on three interconnected areas of discipleship:
The Man
Supporting men in personal spiritual growth, prayer, and a deeper relationship with Christ.
The Ministry
Creating opportunities for men to serve and strengthen the life and mission of the local church.
The Mission
Equipping men to serve others and share Christ's love through compassionate action.
Revitalizing Our Conference Chapter
The Susquehanna Conference is currently working to revitalize United Methodist Men ministry across our churches. While we do not currently have an active conference chapter, we believe there is an opportunity to create new connections, encourage local ministry, and support men seeking to grow in faith and service.
We invite men who are interested in:
- helping rebuild a conference-wide UMM presence,
- connecting with other men across our churches,
- exploring new opportunities for fellowship, discipleship, and service,
