WILD CHURCH AT ORCHARD HILL
As the seasons change, you are invited to come join Sacred SoulScapes and the Center for Spiritual Formation as we worship the God of creation, IN creation. We will gather together on the mountaintop of the beautiful Orchard Hill Retreat near Millerstown, PA, for a time of worship and centering. We will then have time for personal retreat and reflection (to hike, journal, walk the outdoor labyrinth, or sit and soak in the beauty of the surroundings). Following this time, we will gather together again to reflect on our experience and share together in the bounty of the earth – potluck style (you are invited to bring a favorite food to share – consider something seasonal)! There is no cost to participate, though donations toward supplies and expenses are always gratefully appreciated.
Learn more or email Rev. Melissa Madara at mmadara@susumc.org.
Please pray for the people of Maui as they recover from the devastating wildfires.
If you wish to contribute financially to the relief and recovery efforts, go to The California-Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church they have set up a link to give financially; or financial contributions can also be given and designated for “Hawaii” by going to UMCOR’s US Disaster Response page.
