A CHURCH PREPARED
Recent hurricanes that have swept through Puerto Rico, Florida, and the East Coast as well as the flooding of hundreds of houses and businesses in Kentucky have highlighted the need for congregations to be prepared to support an early response in the days, weeks, and months after a disaster strikes. Early Response Team (ERT) members are the backbone of that response. Learn more about becoming a certified ERT member and taking a more active role in the early stages of a disaster.

Special Session
The Northeastern Jurisdiction, of which Susquehanna is a part, has called a special session for October 15 to be held virtually from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Delegates will vote on the number of bishops to elect during the coming Northeastern Jurisdictional Conference to be held November 2-4 in Baltimore.
