“MATCHING MONDAY” IS UNDERWAY
For the past two years, individual donors and churches have made the “Matching Monday” Campaign the biggest fundraising event of the year for Camp & Retreat Ministry. Over the next several weeks you have the opportunity to make the 2023 campaign a successful one!

There are two specific ways you can be part of this major giving movement. 1: Become a donor. Gifts from individuals, families, groups, and churches of any amount make a major impact for outdoor ministry. 2. Share the giving opportunity. Each Monday the Match goal is posted on the camp and retreat center’s Facebook pages. Please share these posts! The more reach we foster, the wider the circle of giving will be, and the deeper the impact.

Giving Instructions: 1. View ONLINE DONATION form. 2. Complete the donation form. 3. Select “Matching Monday” Campaign as your area of designation. 4. Click submit.

RANGE OF COSTS FOR HOTELS FOR 2023 AC SESSION
As you work on your church budgets it may be helpful to know some of the costs associated with Annual Conference, which will meet May 18-20, 2023 at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport, PA.  While we aren’t yet ready to promote the room blocks that we have for Annual Conference, please estimate that the pre-tax rates for rooms ranges from around $110-140/ night.
The submission of Annual Church Conference form #3 (Certification of Election of Lay Members) as well as the registration of Lay Members at Large to attend Annual Conference determines the timing of the release of information regarding housing and the hotel blocks of rooms.
If you have any questions, contact: Rev. Dr. Kathleen Kind – kkind@susumc.org

2023 Property & Casualty Insurance Premium Estimate
The Property & Casualty Insurance Committee suggests using the figure of a 10% increase over this year’s premium as a placeholder for the 2023 property and casualty insurance premium in your local church budget. The actual 2023 premium will be available in January.

Thank you for your faithful participation in the Property & Casualty Insurance program.
