Registration will ONLY be open March 25 – April 22, 2024

The State College and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Districts are looking for new part-time Administrative Assistants. This vital position is the hub of communications and support for the district. Volunteers in Mission (VIM) Wesley Forest Spring Workday
MOVED to the Rain Date, March 23 (9am-4pm)

Cost: FREE – bring your own lunch (coffee, tea and snacks will be provided)

All equipment will be supplied.

Adults and 6th grade and up with a parent/guardian or youth leader are invited.

VIM is forming a team to head to Wesley Forest, one of our Conference Camp and Retreat Centers. Wesley Forest has 11 summer cabins, three of which were painted last year. We hope to gather a group of about 24 in order to paint the remaining 8 cabin exteriors in one day.  We will need volunteers that are comfortable going up on ladders but will also need those who can paint the lower half and porches.

Refresh Your Generosity: Monday, March 18 (6:30-8:30PM) – This webinar will bring together Matt Miofsky, Rodrigo Cruz, and Scott McKenzie to discuss how to think strategically and creativity around financial stewardship, multiple revenue streams, capital campaigns, and budgeting in the church. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A and a breakout room with each presenter.

  • Justice for All: Race, Class, and Economic Justice – Saturday, April 6 at Dutilh UMC in Cranberry Township (Western PA Conference), this transformative event will educate and equip to help participants identify and address systemic racial, class, and economic injustice.
