SUSQUEHANNA CONFERENCE UMC SEEKING CENTER DIRECTOR FOR WESLEY FOREST
The Camp & Retreat Ministry has an exciting and meaningful opportunity for a Center Director at Wesley Forest Camp & Retreat Center located in Weikert, PA. Wesley Forest camp and retreat center encompasses 440 acres of pristine woodland, a small lake, and beautiful streams.

This full-time, year-round position includes housing, insurance, and retirement contributions. Interested applicants should send an application, resume, and cover letter to apply@susumc.org. Interviews will be performed on a rolling basis and the position will be posted until it is filled.

LAY SERVANT MINISTRY CLASSES
Most Districts have posted their Lay Servant Ministry classes for the spring and fall seasons! Check back each week for updates. Remember, to keep your certification as a Lay Servant or Lay Speaker you must take a course to earn 1 CEU every three years. Certified Lay Ministers (CLM) must take a course to earn 1 CEU every two years! God is doing wonderful things through the lay people of the Susquehanna Conference!

MISSION u – JUNE & JULY 2023
This year’s theme, “Living the Kin-dom: Exploring the Lord’s Prayer as a Spiritual Practice for Social Transformation” will be presented in a two-day school July 21 – 22 at Country Cupboard Inn, Lewisburg. One day events on July 20 at Country Cupboard Inn, Lewisburg and on July 29 at Chambers Hill UMC. Online school is July 5, 12, 29, and 26.

Volunteer in Mission u Camp: June 14-17 (a Youth Mission u / VIM cooperative) will be held at Wesley Forest for grades 7-12 and Adults (register for this event).
A Mission u Children’s school will be held at Country Cupboard Inn, Lewisburg on July 21-22.

Registration and pricing information for the adult and children’s school is now available.
