LAY MEMBERS AT LARGE NEEDED FOR AC
Important Information How to Submit Your Name for Nomination to Serve as a Lay Member at Large by January 20
The 2023 Susquehanna Annual Conference meeting will be held May 18-20, at The Community Arts Center in Williamsport, PA. Each year, the hope is to equalize the number of clergy and lay persons attending AC, as well as to encourage a diversity of voices representing as many churches and places across the conference. To achieve this, we ask lay persons who are interested in being considered to serve as a Lay Member at Large to register for consideration.

DEEP GREEN JOURNEY RETREATS
Step into the Flow … Wind (January 19 – 21, 2023)
Wesley Forest Camp & Retreat Center
“The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit” John 3:8.
In a time of uncertainty and unrest in our world, how do we find comfort in these words? How do we rest in the unknowing? You are invited to come and explore the mystery of the Spirit and the ultimate rest and grounding we can find there, even if we cannot plan or predict as we wish we could.
Come spend a little time apart in a beautiful Adirondack Lodge on the banks of Penn’s Creek, enjoy conversation and silence, plenty of rest for your soul as well as good food and laughter.
We can’t think of a better way to start the new year…

CERTIFIED LAY MINISTER (CLM) SCHOOL
Certified Lay Minister (CLM) School operates at the same time and location as the Local Pastor Licensing School of the Susquehanna Annual Conference. Participants are those seeking further development as lay persons in leadership who may experience an assignment to a local church as a pastor, working as a staff person as a local congregation in areas of education, outreach, community development, or new church development. For some, the credentialing process helps fulfill ministry opportunities outside the local congregation as a chaplain or other helping profession.
