LAY MEMBERS AT LARGE NEEDED FOR AC
Important Information How to Submit Your Name for Nomination to Serve as a Lay Member at Large by January 20
The 2023 Susquehanna Annual Conference meeting will be held May 18-20, at The Community Arts Center in Williamsport, PA. Each year, the hope is to equalize the number of clergy and lay persons attending AC, as well as to encourage a diversity of voices representing as many churches and places across the conference. To achieve this, we ask lay persons who are interested in being considered to serve as a Lay Member at Large to register for consideration.

Worshipping on New Year’s Day
It’s not every year that New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday, but 2023 happens to be special. Laying low and reducing the effort that you’re putting into planning a New Year’s Day service might seem like the easiest option. However, instead of seeing it as an obstacle, take time to view it as an opportunity. ResourceUMC has some read-worthy tips to help you build the most meaningful worship service that celebrates new beginnings. GET TIPS
