Important Information How to Submit Your Name for Nomination to Serve as a Lay Member at Large by January 20
The 2023 Susquehanna Annual Conference meeting will be held May 18-20, at The Community Arts Center in Williamsport, PA. Each year, the hope is to equalize the number of clergy and lay persons attending AC, as well as to encourage a diversity of voices representing as many churches and places across the conference. To achieve this, we ask lay persons who are interested in being considered to serve as a Lay Member at Large to register for consideration.

There is an upcoming in-person training on January 10, 2023 at 15th Street UMC, Huntingdon (9 am – 3 pm.) Mexico Mission Opportunity
There is a need for more team members for a mission team to the “Give Ye Them To Eat” mission March 3-12, 2023 in Puebla and Tlancualpican, Mexico. This is an Alternative Work and Study Reality (AWARE) team experience. The team will be working on construction of a house using mud/straw construction as well as construction or upkeep at the Tree of Life training center. The cost is $1,050 plus your airfare to Mexico City (currently around $600). The fee covers all meals, lodging, admissions, tips and in-country transportation.
