Woolrich Community Church holds hot dog roast for Sleep In Heavenly Peace Beds

Lisa and “Pee Wee” Smith, along with their friends, John and Cathy Miller and Trey Price-English, decided to hold a fundraiser to benefit Sleep In Heavenly Peace Lock Haven, during the Woolrich Community Yard Sale on May 20. Their stand sold over 150 hot dogs and treats donated by the members of the Woolrich Community United Methodist Church. A check was presented in the amount of $376 to Sleep In Heavenly Peace Lock Haven, an organization that builds beds for our community. Their motto is “No Kid Sleeps On The Floor In My Town.” For more information on how to volunteer to build beds for local kids, help with fundraising or to receive a bed, go to shpbeds.org and look up the Lock Haven Chapter.
