Rev. Bette J. Poe, 700 Northampton St Rm 108, Kingston PA 18704-3424, Retired Elder, died Friday, December 17, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, 575 N River St, Wilkes-Barre PA 18702. She served as the District Superintendent of the former Scranton District of the former Wyoming Conference from 2003-2010. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 8, 2021 from 1 to 2 pm at Firwood United Methodist Church, 399 Old River Rd, Wilkes-Barre PA 18702-1507, followed by a memorial service at 2 pm. A second memorial service is to be held at Sky Lake Camp in the summer, date to be determined. She has requested attendees wear yellow rather than black to both services.
