Please keep the family of Rev. Dr. Donald R. Wood, Retired Elder in the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, in your prayers. He died on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at home. Among his survivors is his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Wood. Rev. Wood was ordained an elder by the former Central Pennsylvania Conference, one of the predecessor conferences of today’s Susquehanna Conference. Though he did not hold conference membership here at the time of death, we honor his ministry and the lasting legacy of his service in Christ’s name. Visitation will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10 am at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, 228 N Centre St, Philipsburg, PA followed by the service at 11 am. Interment will follow in Philipsburg Cemetery.
