Rev. Dr. Donald R. Shover, Jr., Retired Elder, died Saturday, March 14, 2026. He served as the Harrisburg District Superintendent from 1987 to 1992 and Assistant to the Bishop from 2000 to 2007 of the former Central Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. Among his survivors is his son, Rev. Mark R. Shover. Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10 to 11 am at Bethany Village, The Rife Center, 325 Wesley Drive, Mechanicsburg PA 17055, followed by the funeral service at 11 am.
