Rev. Charles F. Gommer Jr., Retired Elder, died Monday, December 2, 2024 at Meadows Nursing Home, 4 E Center Hill Rd, Dallas PA 18612. He served as the District Superintendent of the former Wilkes-Barre District (1984-1990) and Council on Ministries Director (1990-1995) of the former Wyoming Conference. Among his survivors are his wife, Viola Gommer and his son, Rev. Craig C. Gommer. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Church of Christ Uniting, 190 S Sprague Ave, Kingston PA 18704-3415, followed by the celebration of life service at 10:30 am.
