Church/Charge Conferences
Charge Conferences are more than an administrative requirement; they are a vital opportunity for churches to connect with the wider United Methodist Church, reflect on ministry impact, affirm faithful leadership, celebrate God's work, and prayerfully prepare for the year ahead.
Preparing for a Charge Conference
2026 Charge Conference Form 1 through 8 are now available here in both FILLABLE and BLANK PDF formats.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF FORMS: All North Central Rivers District congregations must submit Forms 1-8 by Sunday, October 4, 2026, at midnight.
Reports received after the deadline will not be received or approved.
In addition to Forms 1-8, please email the following documents to the NCR District Office:
- 2025 Church/Charge Conference Minutes, along with minutes from any Special Charge Conference held during the year.
- A scanned copy of any Church Building or Parsonage Rental Leases.
If you need assistance with any of the forms, Rev. Mike Bealla and Rev. Bill Townsend will lead a hybrid Church/Charge Conference Forms Workshop on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Clarks Summit UMC, located at 1310 Morgan Hwy., Clarks Summit, PA. You may attend in person or via Zoom. Register online here.
Upcoming Charge Conferences
This year we will experiment with a different format. All church/charge conferences will be held over three days by cluster. We are hoping that each church/charge conference will last no more than one hour. See the below schedule for 2026:
