The Susquehanna Conference Board of Global Ministries provides grants and awards that support ministries aligned with our shared mission of making disciples, serving communities, and transforming the world.
These opportunities provide financial support for mission initiatives, encourage faithful service, and recognize individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to ministry and mission.
Grants
The Board offers grants to support ministries and projects that advance mission throughout the Susquehanna Conference and beyond.
Awards
Howard & Elizabeth Brinton Endowment Fund Award
The Howard & Elizabeth Brinton Endowment Fund Award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to mission support through The Advance for Christ and His Church.
Established in memory of Howard and Elizabeth Brinton - missionaries in Congo and longtime servants of the global mission of The United Methodist Church - the award celebrates faithful leadership and dedication to advancing God's mission.
Nomination Process
Individuals must:
- Be active members of a United Methodist congregation
- Demonstrate excellence in mission support through The Advance
Nominations should be submitted by the nominee's pastor in a letter of recommendation to Rev. Andrew Burd-Harris.
The recipient receives a monetary award to designate toward an Advance mission project of their choice.
