Bishop Jane Stewart Allen Middleton

Susquehanna Conference
The United Methodist Church

The Susquehanna Conference website, www.susumc.org, is the first of many firsts for our new conference. As you navigate this site I hope you will sense the excitement we feel as a new conference, bound together in mission and ministry. We offer multiple opportunities for resourcing your ministry and assisting you in your journey in faith. Together we are committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world!

The Susquehanna Conference is being challenged through the image of river to allow God’s spirit to guide us in a new future. We have stated our vision: “People alive in mission and ministry as God leads us on a Christ-centered journey of faith.” We are focusing on resourcing our churches to be vital and growing in faith and ministry.

We understand our primary task to be
Equipping and deploying leaders, both clergy and lay;
Equipping local churches to be vital and growing;
Engaging in mission beyond the walls of the church.

If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to visit one of the 934 churches in our
conference. There is a place for you where you can experience God’s love and grace and find meaning for your life.

May God work miracles in your life!
