 CONNECTING MINISTRIES OFFICES CLOSED ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 22
 
The office of Connecting Ministries will be closed on Monday, October 22 for a staff retreat. This includes Discovery Place,
Camp & Retreat Ministry, and Communications.


The Episcopal Office, Harrisburg District, and Finance Offices will all be open on that day for your needs.  
 
Discovery Place will be open Wednesday, October 24 and Friday, October 26.

FIRST UMC, HANOVER VIM "FILL THE TRUCK" PROJECT

First UMC, Hanover VIM team is requesting donations so that we can fill a truck with relief supplies destined for Lumberton NC. Our contact in Lumberton has asked for emergency donations of specific items.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC POSITION OPEN AT PARK FOREST VILLAGE UMC, STATE COLLEGE   

The Park Forest Village United Methodist Church, at 1833 Park Forest Avenue in State College, seeks a Director of Music. The position is year round. There is one weekly worship service with several additional services during the year. Responsibilities would include:

  •     Working with the Pastor and Organist to coordinate worship music appropriate to weekly worship themes
  •     Directing adult, youth, and children's choir weekly
  •     Responsible for adult choir, youth choir, children's choir, and coordinating VBS music
  •     Obtaining special music during the summer months when the adult choir is on vacation


Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

JOB OPENING AT TRINITY UMC, NEW CUMBERLAND

Trinity United Methodist Church in New Cumberland will have a part time opening in our Church Office sometime after January 1, 2019. In addition to normal office duties, this position requires computer work creating the weekly bulletin. This position is currently 2 days a week covering Wednesday and Thursday. We are looking for a congenial, flexible person.
