NEW DISASTER RESPONSE COORDINATOR ANNOUNCED

It's not a question of if, but when. A crisis can happen anytime and anywhere. Planning beforehand, response during, and recovery after are the critical stages that lessen the severity and longevity of the damage and establish life-changing relationships. The Disaster Response Coordinator (DRC) is essential to creating a network of Emergency Response Teams that can connect local congregations to their community's needs. We are pleased to announce that Doug Hoy has joined the team as our new DRC. Doug is a veteran of the US Army, with more than 25 years of experience serving as a Firefighter/EMT. He is specially trained to coordinate emergency responses to natural disasters and hazardous materials. Doug is passionate follower of Jesus who is married with two sons. As he begins his new role, he will evaluate our current preparedness as a conference and coordinate Flood Relief from this summer's storms.
