FIRST TWELVE TRAINING

If you are looking to start something new to reach new people, gather your team and stoke the ministry fire within, this training is for you.

First Twelve is a team effort of Path 1 New Church Starts at Discipleship Ministries designed as a training event to help gather and grow the first twelve committed, core people of a new church, new ministry or new faith community. These first twelve people set the pattern for replicating leadership, and begin a cascade of invitation. Finding twelve who are invested and committed as leaders with you in helping start a new ministry is a key initial step in growing into something larger without your vision burning out or stalling out before a successful ministry launch. The cost to register is $375 for the team lead and $75 for each additional team member. The registration fee includes the two-day training, meals and on-going Path One coaching for your team.

September 7 - 8, 2018
Friday 4 - 9 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Crosspoint United Methodist Church
430 Colonial Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17109

"NO, WE AIN'T GOT A BARREL OF MONEY BUT..." WEBINAR

Use the end of summer to start the fall off right. Get an early jump on your own "back to school" practice of lifelong learning. Join us for this engaging workshop.

What's it about? We like to claim we are poor. Let's find out why and what to do to change this mindset:

  •     Determine what is your ministry needs AND already has
  •     Ask for giving with confidence
  •     Ask in the right way and time

Learn to be open to believing and doing stewardship rather than just thinking about it.

August 29, 2018
11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
0.1 CEUs

We are excited to welcome Rev. David Rash, the founder and leaders of Stewardship Matters consulting service in Virginia. As a retired United Methodist pastor, he will be discussing ways to eliminate the complaints about a lack of resources with some appreciation for what the church has and what the church truly needs based on his own experiences.
