SUPPORT SUSQUEHANNA FLOOD RELIEF

Your church can help our brothers and sisters effected by the flooding throughout our Conference by giving to the Susquehanna Flood Relief, advance #8055. This supports the work of Early Response Teams (ERTs) and longer term recovery efforts in our Conference.  All of the money designated to this advance number will stay here in the Susquehanna Conference.

As we begin distributing resources, please evaluate the need in your local area and contact our Disaster Relief Coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to request assistance for your community. As a distribution center and staging area for sending out work teams, you can be the hands and feet of Christ, building relationships with neighbors in their time of need.

ASSISTANCE FOR PA FLOOD VICTIMS

Mission Central has contacted the area District Superintendents to let them know that UMCOR Cleaning Buckets are available to any of their churches affected by flooding.

Pastors will report congregational needs to Mission Central so that assistance can be provided.

If your town or area has experienced flooding and these cleaning buckets can help, please have your pastor contact us with any requests. We are sorry, but we cannot disburse buckets to individuals. Relief efforts must be coordinated through a group or church.

Mission Central provides assistance regardless of religious affiliation. Mission Central is here to help connect God's resources with those in need.

FIRST TWELVE TRAINING

If you are looking to start something new to reach new people, gather your team and stoke the ministry fire within, this training is for you.

First Twelve is a team effort of Path 1 New Church Starts at Discipleship Ministries designed as a training event to help gather and grow the first twelve committed, core people of a new church, new ministry or new faith community. These first twelve people set the pattern for replicating leadership, and begin a cascade of invitation. Finding twelve who are invested and committed as leaders with you in helping start a new ministry is a key initial step in growing into something larger without your vision burning out or stalling out before a successful ministry launch. The cost to register is $375 for the team lead and $75 for each additional team member. The registration fee includes the two-day training, meals and on-going Path One coaching for your team.
