This Fall, each district will host a time of Holy Christian Conversation that will include:
- Devotions with your District Superintendent
- A presentation on the Way Forward proposals
- A time of question and answer with Bishop Park, afterward, congregational leaders will learn about resources available to your local church for continuing the conversation.

MISSION OPPORTUNITY: GIVE YE THEM TO EAT
Puebla and Tlancualpican
You are invited to become "AWARE" (Alternative Work/study Awareness Program) in Mexico, October 5-14, 2018. This trip is open to anyone age 18 or older who has a desire to work and learn in another culture.
Working with staff of the Give Ye Them To Eat program (www.gytte.org), we will work alongside Mexicans on construction projects, repairs and upgrades in and around the Tree of Life Training Center in Tlancualpican. We will visit villages, participate in health programs, learn about agricultural & livestock development, participate in worship at local Methodist Churches as well as have some time to shop and do some touring. Cost for the trip is $2000. Scholarship assistance of up to $300 is available through team leader Rev. Marian Hartman. Costs include all transportation, meals, lodging, tips and admissions to tourist attractions.
Clergy can receive 3.3 CEU's for participation in the AWARE program.

MISSION CENTRAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Board of Directors of Mission Central and the leadership of the Susquehanna Conference announce the resignation of Mr. Robert Visscher, Executive Director of Mission Central. We appreciate the many positive contributions that Rob made during his 8 years at Mission Central. Partnerships with diverse organizations were developed and strengthened. Hubs were created in many places throughout the Northeastern Jurisdiction and beyond. Mission Central expanded its presence and service in connecting God's resources to human needs, locally, nationally, and globally. Rob's gifts and graces as Executive Director have served Mission Central well for many years.
Under the capable leadership and supervision of the Board of Directors, Mission Central will continue to operate well with efficiency to fulfill its mission. We solicit your prayers for Rob and Mission Central during this time of transition.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC POSITION OPEN AT PARK FOREST VILLAGE UMC, STATE COLLEGE
The Park Forest Village United Methodist Church, at 1833 Park Forest Avenue in State College, seeks a Director of Music. The position is year round. There is one weekly worship service with several additional services during the year. Responsibilities would include:
