CONFERENCE OFFICE AND DISCOVERY PLACE HOLIDAY HOURS
The conference office and Discovery Place will be closed Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The conference office will reopen Thursday, July 5.
NEW DISCOVERY PLACE HOURS
Effective Monday, July 2, 2018, the Discovery Place Resource Center will operate during the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. (Summer hours: close at noon on Fridays.)
In addition, Discovery Place will be closed from July 9-13. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

It's helpful for visitors, church leaders, and members. The handbook is available in English, Portuguese, French, and Russian. Handbooks in Spanish and Korean are coming soon.

Summer has just begun but Charge Conference season will soon be upon us. For your convenience, the 2018 Charge Conference forms are on-line and ready to go. Go to www.susumc.org, click on Resources, then on Forms. You can go there directly by clicking here.

SOCIAL MINISTRIES GRANTS
The revised 2019 Social Ministry Grant Application is posted on the Conference Website. If you aspire to start a new social ministry and need funding to begin or desire to continue a previously funded ministry, please submit your completed application no later than September 15, 2018. Please be aware that all ministries granted awards in 2018 are not automatically renewed and must be applied for each year for the remaining allowable years.

DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP MUSIC POSITION OPEN AT ALBRIGHT-BETHUNE UMC, STATE COLLEGE
The Albright-Bethune United Methodist Church, at the corner of West Beaver Avenue and South Burrowes Street in State College, seeks a director of worship music. This is a diverse congregation seeking a leader experienced in the African-American worship tradition and open
to other musical traditions as well. There is one weekly worship service with several additional services through the year. Responsibilities would include:
Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. We are open to considering either a 10- or 12-month contract.
