NEW DISCOVERY PLACE HOURS
   
Starting Monday, July 2, 2018, the Discovery Place Resource Center will operate during the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

 CONGREGATION SECURITY WORKSHOP AND ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING VIDEOS
 
The Susquehanna Conference partnered with the South Central Task Force to provide video coverage of the Congregation Security Workshop, held at Milton Hershey School, covering topics of Security Planning for Houses of Worship, Observational Techniques, Active Shooter Responses for Houses of Worship, the 'Stop the Bleed' program, Crime Prevention for Houses of Worship, and Weapons in Houses of Worship. View a playlist of each individual topic.  
 
A special thanks to the South Central Task Force for their coordination and efforts to provide these resources to our local churches.
 
In addition, the Active Shooter Training created in partnership with the Harrisburg City Police is available to view.

If needed, DVD copies of any of these items are available upon request.

THE WINDS OF PRIVILEGE & PREJUDICE: A SOUTH AFRICAN PERSPECTIVE WORKSHOP

Drawing on insights from the South African story of the transition to democracy and the painful economic landscape of post-Apartheid South Africa, this session will explore how the largely unconscious realities of privilege and prejudice can easily derail the pursuit of reconciliation. No fee. All are welcome.
