THE WINDS OF PRIVILEGE & PREJUDICE: A SOUTH AFRICAN PERSPECTIVE WORKSHOP

Drawing on insights from the South African story of the transition to democracy and the painful economic landscape of post-Apartheid South Africa, this session will explore how the largely unconscious realities of privilege and prejudice can easily derail the pursuit of reconciliation. CHILDREN'S HOME NEEDS GIFT CARDS
 
The United Methodist Home for Children needs Walmart, Target, and Amazon gift cards in $10-$50 increments to purchase school supplies for the kids. Gift cards are so helpful in allowing the home's staff to purchase exactly the items each youth needs, and often the supplies are subject specific. CHILDREN'S MINISTRY COORDINATOR POSITION OPEN AT MIDDLESEX UMC
 
Middlesex UMC is a vital and growing church seeking a children's ministry coordinator - 15-20 hrs./week.
 
General Job Description:
The children's ministry coordinator works directly with the senior pastor and is responsible for the facilitation, coordination, and development of ministries for children. This includes, but is not limited to, oversight and coordination of Sunday school ministries, provide nursery or child care for other events at the church, support the preschool program, and coordination of Vacation Bible School.
 
Must complete/clear criminal background check and child abuse clearances.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION OPEN AT NEWBURG UMC
 
Newburg United Methodist Church is looking for an individual to serve on staff as administrative assistant.The successful candidate will desire to serve God and the NUMC community of faith by organizing and directing the various functions of the church office which support our vision of "Knowing Christ and Making Christ Known." Competencies will include excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to relate to staff and volunteers in all areas of ministry, including God's Little Ones Learning Center. This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week.
