You're invited to come away, Monday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. - Wednesday, April 25, at 10 a.m., to Orchard Hill, near Millerstown, to Practice The Presence of God. Cost is $135 for meals, lodging, and materials. 2 CEU's.

MAUD K. JEN SEN / KAREN E. LAYMAN SCHOLARSHIP
The Maud K. Jensen/Karen E. Layman Scholarship is awarded to women seminarians from the Susquehanna United Methodist Conference. Named for kindred spirits in ministry, the scholarship is offered to candidates for ministry who exemplify the commitments of Maud Jensen and Karen Layman.
In order to complete our process in a timely manner, applications will be accepted until April 15, 2018.
Please complete the requested information on the scholarship form webpage, along with submitting your college or seminary transcript to the address that is provided for you in the application.

MARCH FOR OUR LIVES - HARRISBURG, PA
This Saturday, March 24, there will be a March For Our Lives event held at the Harrisburg Capital. For many, this may be the first time they have ever attended an event like this. The people of Paxton UMC would like to help make this event as safe as possible.
We invite you to park at Paxton UMC, which is at 3550 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg PA 17110-9657. We will be running vans to the capital and back to the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. (The event is scheduled for 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.).
We drop persons off at the same place they were picked up. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, you simply need to show up.
