INTERPRETER MAGAZINE TO CEASE PUBLICATION

According to United Methodist Communications, they are  no longer accepting subscriptions as the magazine will cease publication with the November- December 2017 issue.

Pastors, this eliminates one of the items on your after Church Conference "to do" list.

BOOM THEOLOGY STUDY DAYS

Every year the Board of Ordained Ministry offers theology study days to help provisional and commissioned candidates prepare for their verbal and written work for the board. This is an optional day for candidates designed to be of help to them. Candidates are encouraged to come and bring whatever questions they might have.

This year two theology study days will be offered. Those dates are
Friday, November 3, at 10 a.m., and Monday, November 6, at 10 a.m.

These gatherings will both occur at First United Methodist Church in Williamsport. Please email Matthew Lake at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to RSVP. We will gather together for a few hours of conversation or until all the questions folks have are addressed.

CLERGY TAX WEBINAR

Last chance to register for a Clergy Tax webinar, November 14 from 10 a.m. - noon with Rev. Ed Bailey.

"Tax Tuesday" Webinar: We are online for your convenience.

Bring your own tax forms and questions to learn about your responsibilities in preparing your income taxes and your financial responsibilities in the church as pastor. Invite your church treasurer to learn how to help you get reimbursements that won't add a bigger burden to your quarterly payments. You will only need two hours, a computer with a web camera, and a good internet connection. Join us! The United Methodist Stewardship Foundation invites you to take charge of your financial future.

ADDITIONAL COPIES OF SONG BOOKS NEEDED

Does any local church or choir director have copies of the book of songs for men titled "Faithful Men" TTBB (opt 2-part men), arr. Joseph Linn, Word Music publisher, copyright 1993?

It is permanently out of print, and I would like to borrow or buy 15 copies.
