UN SEMINAR REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS APPROACHING
How should we as followers of Jesus - and United Methodists - respond to the violence we are experiencing in our communities
and around the world?
What are the things that lead to peace?
November 1, 2017, is the deadline to sign up for the UN Seminar that will be held February 4-7, 2018, in New York City. There are eight spots left, so if you are interested, please contact Joe Hopkins or Kris Sledge as soon as possible. We will be at the United Church Center across from the UN for three days of struggling about how we respond to issues like the mass shooting in Las Vegas. During these times we wring our hands and wonder what we can do, so let's get some guidance from our experts on how to be vessels of God's peace in our communities.
See the flyer about this seminar sponsored by the Mission and Outreach Team of Susquehanna Conference. Cost of the trip is $395 and includes seminar, bus transportation, and shared lodging at Edison Hotel in Times Square.
The Seminar Trip is limited to 20 participants - register now!
