MARCH 1 DEADLINE FOR HEALTH MINISTRIES GRANT APPLICATION

The Mission and Outreach Team awarded most of the budgeted grant funds for 2017 Health Ministries Grants, but there is a small amount remaining to help fund new health-related programs or existing programs that demonstrate success. Applications are open again until March 1.

Preference will be given to projects that fulfill our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Innovative programs that meet real community needs in connection with other local ministries and other local churches will be given high priority.

Grants may be given for parish nurse related programs, including initial training for parish nurses and/or health ministries, for purchase of blood pressure apparatus and first aid kits, for printed materials needed to begin a program, expenses for a health fair, and toward the purchase of an AED and CPR/AED training up to designated amounts.

CLICK HERE for the application and HERE for the policy.

The deadline is March 1.
